Dr. Tabares-Velasco received approval for a new Signature Student Experience: Institute for Energy Efficient Communities with Flexible Loads. He will be creating new curricular content focused on energy and power issues related to connected communities. This will combine 1-credit classes, internships with Mines partners, and senior design projects.
