Gabriel Flechas is the AMBER group’s newest PhD candidate. He recently completed an MS in Mechanical Engineering at Colorado School of Mines. His research has focused on developing and validating OpenStudio models for buildings using cross laminated timber (CLT) and assessing its energy savings potential. Gabriel holds a BS in Business Administration – Finance and an AS in Engineering from Union College (NE). In his free time he enjoys learning new things (most recently the guitar), making coffee, and jogging.
