Energy storage to reduce energy bills and decrease vulnerability

Power outages are becoming more common and longer. Here, we partner with Xcel Energy, Energy Outreach Colorado, and the Department of Energy to demonstrate the holistic benefits of battery energy storage. We are deploying 17 battery systems in low-income homes in Denver and investigating the most effective controls to reduce energy bills and help the electric grid become more resilient.
