District energy forecast and controls

What is the best approach to electrify a campus with central/district energy systems or simply reduce energy usage? Any optimal dispatch and sizing strategy requires accurate prediction of future loads. Using our university campus as a testbed, we have developed data-driven models for the chiller plant and buildings, and more recently a forecasting framework for district energy systems. Our latest work used data from three university campuses around the United States.
